Out with the old and in with the new! We finally have a new website. It’s been our pleasure to have worked with Mitchell and his design group, Ruby Creek Design, out of New Mexico, USA! Mitchell is very detail oriented and was able to convey the professionalism necessary on our tech site! We, without a doubt, would highly recommend them to you. Not only do they make your site their number one priority, but they also lend assistance with the organization and contents as well! Do check them out: Ruby Creek Design

We sat in on a presentation of the new Visual Studio 2005, and, in our humble opinion, believe it is not targeted for the small business owner. If you want to use the full professional version, it requires you to utilize a 2003 server as a source control tool. For example, we have all 2000 servers, so we would be required to sacrifice one of those servers and convert it to 2003. While the new testing concept is beneficial, we observe it as extremely confusing for generating new projects and products.

We are working with new graphic artists, both locally and in Australia, that design many of our toolbar graphics, etc. Also, we are in the process of getting a face lift on our own website. We thought we would finally get rid of that “Windows 98 type appearance!”  Upon completion, we will be happy to pass on the design house working closely with us.

Evaluated Microsoft IE 7.0 – Beta. Well, well…. All we can say at this time is we are not terribly impressed, but then if you read forum upon forum on this, we are far from alone. There is no technical information yet so that some of the bugs observed can be addressed, etc.

Thought we’d pass on that we work with an excellent install package by Tarma Research—definitely worth a look. We rate it number one above all others—great compression, simple and easy to use and extremely cost-effective.

FireFox development is beginning to go through the roof! There is not a client we work with that has not requested after IE development to move on and include FireFox development as well.
