Our GSD Outlook Express Toolbar Kit allows you to generate toolbars for Outlook Express. It includes two COM components—the first allows you to create the toolbar, and the second controls, monitors events and manipulates Outlook Express. This product is specifically designed for Outlook Express 6.0. You can customize and personalize your own OE toolbar!

The Outlook Express Toolbar kit also includes a separate DLL that allows control functions (such as folder maintenance) and even capture mail message events such as a new message.

Three licenses are available and a demo version is available for trial of product installation.

More Information (Demo):

  • The following image file types can be used: GIF, JPEG, BMP, and ICO.
  • The API will accept an XML configuration file and will dynamically format the toolbar based on XML input.
  • The toolbar API will interface with any executable.
  • Demo programs for VC6 and Visual Studio 2003 are available.
  • Command event processing for buttons.
  • The demo period is 14 days.

Buttons:

  • The API will configure up to 12 buttons, including separators.
  • The button definitions are contained within an XML configuration file that can be web–based or local and can even be a string input.
  • You can add buttons of the following types: regular, combo, dual combo, edit box, or button control.
  • Each button can accept an image of several different types. The only stipulation is that they must be 16 pixels in height.
