The GSD Toolbar is a “free” toolbar that provides some nice features that allow you to perform custom functionality in your Internet Explorer browser such as:
- Web search
- Form fill
- Highlight and search results
- Web capture
- Pop-up blocking
- Search tracking
- Address bar search
- Right-click form fill data
Web search
The web search feature allows you to do a search utilizing the GigaSoft Development Search Engine. It incorporates a resizable text entry, search options that allow you to open results on a new window and a drop–down which contains recent searches. The search functionality also allows you to highlight search results after the search has been conducted.
Form fill
The form fill logic features is a rudimentary feature which allows you to fill-in basic address information with either a button click, automatically or by a right–click. Some of these options can be turned on and off via an options dialog. The right-click data is especially cool as it allows you to enter miscellaneous data and the toolbar will store this data. If you right–click on an input, the toolbar will generate a right–click context menu that will contain all the miscellaneous form fill items that you may select for entry.
Highlight and search results
You can find and highlight the text in the text box on the current web page.
Web capture
The web capture functionality consists of 2 buttons. The first button will allow you to take a snapshot or capture the current web page and save it as an image (JPEG). The second button will allow you to archive all of the content within a given web page. The are cut-up functionality from the GSD Capture Product which we sell. The storage folders for the output of this functionality can be set via the miscellaneous options dialog.
Pop-up blocking
This is a popup blocker which blocks most all pop-ups! It can be turned on and off via the two-state pop-up blocker button within the toolbar.
Search tracking
The GSD Toolbar will automatically maintain a list of the most recent searches conducted by you via search engines. This button will act much like the IE Back button being a dual function button.
Address bar search
The Address Bar Search will allow the user to enter search terms on the IE address bar. The GSD Toolbar will intercept and process the search accordingly.
Right click form fill data (an option to fill out forms automatically)
There is an additional option to fill in “custom form fill data” by going to the options dialog and selecting the form fill tab. Once you select the form fill tab, you may add/edit/delete custom form fill right click data. After closing the options dialog, you may then right click on any text input html element and select your custom data from the runtime generated menu.

From the toolbar you can click “contact or suggestions” and it will take you directly to us via email. We are always open for further suggestions and add–ons for this nifty little toolbar. We will be updating this toolbar often and you can check via menu item to verify that you have the latest version of the toolbar.
