A brief synopsis: Our primary focus has been development of custom toolbars, custom toolbars for Internet Explorer (IE) and custom toolbars for Firefox (Netscape/Mozilla) architecture on multiple platforms. Development additionally of custom Browser Helper Objects (BHOs), custom Outlook plug–ins, custom Outlook add–ins, and major custom Outlook development as well. We specialize in the DeskBand as it relates to Internet Explorer and Windows development.
We are definitely seasoned veterans—some 25 years of “seasoning” in the custom applications development arena. Our experience goes back to the dawn of Windows; we commonly refer to the line “when Moby Dick was a Minnow.” We have been doing custom toolbars utilizing the Windows Common Controls since the beginning. Our plug-in development experience goes back to IE 4.0. We utilize ATL and VC for all IE (Internet Explorer) development.
All said, not only do we develop IE toolbars and BHOs, but we also develop plug–ins utilizing the DeskBand Object (DeskBand, InfoBand, CommBand) . A little note: some people might even refer to the InfoBand and CommBand as the left and bottom Internet Explorer Frame Plug–ins. At GigaSoft Development, we specialize in custom development.
